Rating system is totally messed up

For several weeks already I'm noticing that the ratings are messed up. It seems like 4+ weeks ago a lot of pictures (not all) were automatically downrated by 0.5 points in average.

Strangely the average wasn't adjusted, this leads to the strange effect that the average is often higher than the best pic. Even if the best pic is the only pic.

Just take a recent birthday page and check the homepage of the first ladies.

One effect now it's that the ranking on the birthday pages became useless.

My guess is that your site is only calculating the average after one picture is voted and the result is cached.

But you changed some votes in the database without triggering a recalculation.

This would explain why popular ladies have an up to date average while more obscure ones don't.
