Her Early Life<\/h2>\n

Jilly Anais was born on January 2, 1996, in Houston, Texas.\u00a0 She is of Jamaican ancestry.<\/p>\n

Jilly began honing her creative skills right from the age of two.\u00a0 She began taking ballet dancing lessons and exhibited her skills as a ballerina for the next three years.\u00a0 When Jilly Anais was five, she enrolled at the Ensemble Theater where she performed in near countless productions, and oftentimes as the lead for eight consecutive years.\u00a0 As a student of Premier High School in North Houston, she was part of the main cast for several plays.<\/p>\n

While attending college, she participated in \u2018competitive dance\u2019 as well as \u2018competitive cheerleading\u2019.\u00a0 Her exceptional boogieing and ballet skills that she had nurtured as a child helped her to bag the highly prized solo spots.\u00a0 She served as a varsity cheerleader and competitive cheerleader for four and five years respectively.\u00a0 Jilly was a vivacious and energetic girl, taking part in the sporting disciplines of soccer, basketball, and volleyball during her school and college years.\u00a0 She captained starting lineups on several occasions, earning kudos from team members as well as coaches for her sporting skills.<\/p>\n

Jilly spent the first 18 years of her life in her hometown before moving to Los Angeles for furthering her professional career.<\/p>\n

Career Journey<\/h2>\n

In 2009 when Jilly was all of 13 years old, she signed a contract with Page Parkes Modeling & Acting Agency.\u00a0 She was featured in commercials for \u2018Dance Spirits and Dance Academy\u2019, \u2018Sakowitz Furs\u2019, \u2018Sports Authority\u2019, and \u2018Academy\u2019.\u00a0 She took part in a beauty contest for the first time was declared the winner of \u2018Miss Teen Houston 2010-11\u2019 in her debut attempt to vie for the top spot in the beauty contest.<\/p>\n

It was in 2014 that she took the momentous decision of relocating to Los Angeles from her hometown to boost up her career and the move proved to be a turning point in her life.\u00a0 She took acting lessons in multiple finishing schools to sharpen her rendition skills.<\/p>\n

Her debut single, \u2018The Juice\u2019 that she co-composed with \u2018The Invaders\u2019 was commercially released in February 2015 to promote her first EP with the same title that was launched shortly after.\u00a0 The EP contained tracks such as \u20189 Lives\u2019, \u2018Lucky Girl\u2019, \u2018Danza\u2019, and \u2018Tough Love.\u2019\u00a0 Also in 2015, Jilly collaborated with Troi Irons, a Los Angeles-based songstress for scripting the single, \u201cAfterparty\u201d.<\/p>\n

Acting Career<\/h2>\n

Jilly Anais earned acclaim for her noteworthy cameos in Demi Lovato\u2019s music footage, \u2018Cool for The Summer,\u2019 Kevin Hart\u2019s \u2018Real Husbands of Hollywood\u2019, and Morris Chestnut\u2019s \u2018Rosewood\u2019.<\/p>\n

Since 2013, she has made guest appearances in a few TV episodes and talk shows.\u00a0 She starred in an episode (All Rumors are True) of the TV series, \u2018East Los High\u2019 in 2013 and in 2016 appeared as a guest on the talk show, \u2018Women Talk with Meosha\u2019.<\/p>\n

Jilly dated NBA guard Dejounte Murray up until late 2018.\u00a0 She then began dating NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson in 2019.<\/p>\n
