Her Early Life<\/h2>\n

Lauren Simpson was born on September 29, 1990.\u00a0 She’s originally from Sydney, Australia and she grew up living an active lifestyle playing netball and touch football.\u00a0 In high school, she was an avid sportswoman, participating in netball, touch football, athletics, and swimming.\u00a0 She didn’t discover her passion for fitness until she was 25 years old.<\/p>\n

Lauren was a very active child.\u00a0 She regularly participated in athletic events at her school. After graduating from college at the age of 20, she got her first job as an HR Coordinator in a financial advisory firm.\u00a0 Lauren was stuck in a monotonous corporate environment for the next four years, so she began working out at the gym to keep things interesting.<\/p>\n

Lauren became obsessed with working out, but she had no knowledge of nutrition or bodybuilding.\u00a0 She wasn’t eating enough to fuel her body, and she became anxious as a result of being severely underweight.\u00a0 She had pushed herself to an unhealthy level of fitness and was a physical and mental wreck.<\/p>\n

\u201cI learned that health and fitness shouldn\u2019t be about punishing yourself to a point where you are unhappy.\u00a0 I aspire to be fit and strong, but most importantly with my health, happiness, friends, and family as first priority.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Fitness Journey<\/h2>\n

Lauren Simpson has evolved from an underweight, anxious office worker to a WBFF Pro Bikini model with arguably one of the greatest female physiques in modern times.<\/p>\n

By the end of 2014, she had finally taken her first steps toward recovery and began researching different personal trainers to help her overcome her issues.\u00a0 This was to be a watershed moment in her life, launching her career in the fitness industry.\u00a0 Lauren didn’t have to wait long to hire a coach and learn about proper nutrition. She started eating healthier and lifting weights.\u00a0 She was finally getting in shape, and she was making a beeline for her ideal shape.<\/p>\n

Lauren had not only reached a healthy weight after making significant progress in the gym with the help of her personal trainer, but she had also sculpted a very attractive physique.\u00a0 But she wasn’t done yet. She began posting pictures of her journey on her Instagram profile, proud of her transformation.\u00a0 Lauren’s uploads had gone viral before she knew it, and she was suddenly an internet sensation.\u00a0 Lauren was moved by all of the support she received from her large following and increased her training to develop an even better body.<\/p>\n

She learned about fitness competitions through social media and began researching them, developing a newfound respect for the competitors.\u00a0 She became hungry for the stage after admiring the profiles of Bikini Athletes such as Paige Hathaway and Michelle Lewin.<\/p>\n

Lauren was finally ready for her first competition, the INBA Southern Cross Championships in April 2015, after months of intense preparation.\u00a0 She was awarded both the trophy and the Overall title. Her efforts were rewarded.\u00a0 Lauren won first place and the overall title in the 2015 INBA Sydney Super Bodies show the same month. But that wasn’t her only accomplishment of the night; she had also won her Pro Card.\u00a0 She realized her dream of becoming a professional bikini athlete at the age of 25, two years after she began her journey.<\/p>\n

Lauren’s success in her first two competitions only fueled her desire for more. Four months after winning the INBA Sydney Super Bodies, she competed in her first professional show, the WBFF Fitness and Fashion Gold Coast. Despite not continuing her winning streak, she finished third in a fiercely contested Bikini Diva Tall class alongside Rachel Dillon.<\/p>\n

Lauren has named Instagram star Paige Hathaway<\/a> as her biggest fitness inspiration and favorite fitness model.<\/p>\n

Lauren’s weekly workout consists of three lower-body, three upper-body, and one full-body conditioning session.\u00a0 She works out six times a week to keep her incredible physique.<\/p>\n
