Jocelyn Chew’s Background<\/h2>\n

Jocelyn Chew is half Chinese and half Icelandic. \u00a0The 25-year old model was born and raised on a farm in British Columbia, Canada. \u00a0She has lived in Hongkong, Singapore, and Greece. \u00a0Eventually, she moved to the US and now resides in New York. \u00a0She has modeled for American Eagle, O\u2019Neill and GQ to name a few. \u00a0She\u2019s also been managed by different agencies like Vision LA, One Management, and Wilhelmina.<\/p>\n

Her Start at Modelling<\/h2>\n

She started modelling when she was 16 years old. \u00a0Starting at a young age, she was already interested in the fashion industry so her friends and family encouraged her to try modelling. \u00a0\u201cI decided to give it a shot and start my way into the modeling world!\u201d<\/p>\n

Her modeling career took off after appearing in the reality TV show \u201cThe Face.\u201d \u00a0In the show, she learned how to pose like a pro from their mentor supermodel Naomi Campbell<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel that being on the The Face helped my career. \u00a0I didn\u2019t have anything massive come out of it, but it definitely helped put my name out there more,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Of course, The Face was only a tool to Jocelyn\u2019s way to stardom. \u00a0In the end, it is her guts that helped her become who she is now.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I would be where I am even if I had not done the show. \u00a0I\u2019m a very determined person, and when I set goals for myself I\u2019ll do anything to accomplish them,\u201d Jocelyn shares.<\/p>\n

Craziest Thing She Has Done in a Photoshoot<\/h2>\n

Jocelyn is a self-confessed thrill seeker. \u00a0She always looks for exciting things to do on set. \u00a0In fact, she says she\u2019s always the model being asked to do something crazy.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn set, I\u2019ve served the ocean, ridden horses down a beach in the Dominican Republic, and gone snowboarding down a mountain in Argentina. One time on set we took helicopters to the top of some Canadian glaciers to shoot a winter campaign in summer,\u201d the stunning beauty shared.<\/p>\n

Her Fun Adventures<\/h2>\n

Jocelyn admitted she\u2019s got a hard time staying in one place because she gets bored easily.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo if I have enough time off, I like to go travelling with my friends and family. \u00a0To me, life is about making memories and experiencing as many new things, ideas, and cultures as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

On her blog site, jetsetjoce.com<\/a>, she posts her travel adventures. \u00a0Just this year, she welcomed in the new year in Columbia. \u00a0The beach babe explored Cartagena where she found the beautiful walls of Old Town and took a boat to go to Rosario Islands.<\/p>\n

Jocelyn is definitely a beach bum. \u00a0When she travels, she never forgets to take a dip in the blue waters. \u00a0She\u2019s been spotted in Miami, Bahamas Islands, and Mikonos. \u00a0Definitely, wearing a bikini on the beach with no make up is what makes Jocelyn feel sexy.<\/p>\n

Future Plans<\/h2>\n

After her modelling career, Jocelyn says she\u2019d still stay in the fashion industry. \u201cI love photography, and I think that\u2019s something I want to get into more. \u00a0Sometimes models are amazing photographers because we notice different details other people would miss.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jocelyn also has plans in doing charity work for animals. \u00a0\u201cI grew up on a small farm and I\u2019ve always had a giant spot in my heart for all wildlife. \u00a0I would love to help in anyway I can and a charity of my own is my goal for the future.\u201d<\/p>\n
