Hilary Rhoda is an American model who is perhaps best known for her work with the brand Est\u00e9e Lauder, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Ralph Lauren, Gap, DSquared\u00b2, Donna Karan (those are just a few, guys), and in Victoria’s Secret<\/a> catalogs (as well as appearing in Victoria Secret’s 2012 Fashion).\u00a0 She also replaced Angelina Jolie<\/a> as the face of Via Spiga.\u00a0 Hilary is notable for her appearances on the covers of Sports Illustrated<\/a> in 2009, 2010, and 2011.\u00a0 She also graced the covers of Vogue (Italian, French), British Harper’s Bazaar, Time, Num\u00e9ro, and W. In the May of 2007 issue of Amercian Vogue.\u00a0 Hilary was featured on the cover alongside models Doutzen Kroes<\/a>, Caroline Trentini<\/a>, Raquel Zimmermann<\/a>, Sasha Pivovarova<\/a>, Agyness Deyn<\/a>, Coco Rocha<\/a>, Jessica Stam<\/a>, Chanel Iman<\/a>, and Lily Donaldson<\/a> as the “World\u2019s Next Top Models.”<\/p>\n

Early Life<\/h2>\n

Hilary Hollis Rhoda was born on April 6, 1987, in Chevy Chase, Maryland.\u00a0 She is of Irish ancestry.\u00a0 Hilary also spent a good amount of her childhood in Rye, New York.<\/p>\n

Before starting her career, Hilary attended the Academy of the Holy Cross.\u00a0 She was a member of the field hockey team as a three-year varsity athlete.\u00a0 She was also a member of the Washinton Catholic Athletic Conference championship team where she earned honors and was awarded the best offensive player.\u00a0 Because of her athletic prowess, several colleges then began recruiting Hilary to play field hockey but she deferred her college acceptances when she began a modeling career in her sophomore year.<\/p>\n

Career Journey<\/h2>\n

Hilary was discovered in Washington, DC at a ProScout event.\u00a0 After receiving several agency proposals, she decided to sign with Women Model Management.\u00a0 She soon started appearing in ads for Abercrombie and Hollister before deciding to switch to Click Model Management.\u00a0 She then went on to\u00a0sign to IMG Models.\u00a0 Currently, Hilary is with Elite Model Management in New York.<\/p>\n
