How long before a picture is rated?

Just a quick general question: I posted a few pictures several weeks ago and none of them have any wins or losses or any rating. How long does it generally take before a picture starts getting wins/losses/ratings?
 
They should start getting votes fairly quickly after they are uploaded. I'll have a look at this and see what is up
 
Well they have gotten a few votes but I would like to see that rate a lot higher. I'm looking into what could be done
