Do you use X (or Twitter) and often come across sensitive content? Sensitive content simply means anything that may trigger or harm or shock the viewers. So, if you want to know how to see sensitive content on X, this post is all about it. We’ll guide you step-wise.
Since you can use X or Twitter on an app or website, there will be two ways to enable watching sensitive content on X. Check each one here:

On X Website (Desktop):
- Visit your X account on X official: X.com.
- Tap the ‘More’ option.
- Select ‘settings and privacy’ option.
- Click ‘privacy and safety’
- And tap the ‘content you see’ option.
- Here you will find an option: display media that may contain sensitive content. Click the box to select the option.
- Now, unselect an option called ‘hide sensitive content’.
- Once you’re done, you will start seeing sensitive content on your X account.
On X App:
- Install the X app from App Store or Google Play Store.
- Log in.
- Select your profile.
- Choose ‘settings and privacy under the settings & support option.
- Now, select privacy and safety options.
- Find the option called ‘content you see’
- Then, click ‘sensitive media’
- Push the toggle to the ‘show all’ option for all types of sensitive content.
- Also, toggle off for ‘hide sensitive content’
- Now, you will start seeing sensitive content on your X app.
