I think we should add a new sub forum for adult actors/actresses

The adult industry is one of the biggest industries in this age, and though there are very mixed opinions about appreciating their particular line of 'work', nobody can deny that there are some very good looking men and women who are in the business. Since the website and these forums are quite dedicated to appreciating hot men and women, it seems a bit unfair to me that the people who make a living out of their 'hotness' won't get a 'say' here, so to speak.

So, what are your thoughts?

It sounds like an idea, you could put it out as a vote and as long as there are guidelines and rules to the forum, everyone should be fine. Everybody has an opinion on the pros and cons of adult material. It depends on the angle in which the sub forum is likely to take in 'appreciating' this line of work.

I think thats a good idea! But I agree there will need to be rules on the type of pic so the forum doesn't turn into a porn page... Not that theres anything wrong with that, but the site seems to be pretty PG at the moment.

I support the idea, but as usual I think that the images should be restricted to strictly softcore pics - and there's plenty of those from a lot of adult actresses. There are a lot of porn stars that look good not only in their occupation, but outside it too.

Well, finding Softcore pics won't be a problem, because a lot of them earn the bulk of their wages from modelling for various magazines. And I totally agree with you on that 'a lot of porn stars look good outside their occupation' part. It's to be expected. After all, almost all of them are literally paid to look good, both on-screen and off.

I agree with @darkrebelchild that rules and regulations have to be put in place for this particular sub-forum, mostly regarding the actual content that's being posted and the 'appreciation' that's shown. But I think that the admins are quite capable of doing that, looking at how well they've maintained the forum up till now, at least.

The adult industry is going to be a tricky one to get right, when it comes to a site like this, but as others have said, it IS a major industry, with a lot of hot/beautiful people in it, so it doesn't seem fair they're not included.

If it's done tastefully of course, I'd have no problem with it, so I'm in favour.

Agreed. There's a certain threshold that you can't cross with stuff like this. I'm also in favor.

It perhaps might be a good idea to lock the thread off and only grant access to those that apply for it if it turns out that users can't handle the thread or abuse it.

I know we're all adults here but at the same time I don't think everyone who likes this site would want to stumble across porn, no matter how softcore it is.

Leave it in the capable hands of the site admins to decide if and how to do it.

I thought so too. I used to run a few forums and I had to do this for certain threads, nothing like this one in discussion though, but it helped keep everyone happy.
I also had one locked off specifically for our admin and staff to discuss new ideas, suggestions, and plans to better our forum. It was invisible to our forum users so they wouldn't wonder what was in it, lol.

That depends on what sort of pictures the site admins are intending to use when it comes to the adult actresses.

While I'm sure for most there are softcore pictures to be found, there might be some thst are a little too close to the edge, that's the only reason I mentioned locking the thread.
