PPS: It is official, dynamically-loaded content blows chunks. On anything with a touch screen, often just scrolling results in an "open" command when you contact the screen. Hitting the back arrow will, once in a while, get you back before the loaded content is lost, but when we are talking about 300+ pics, that is small consolation for the other 90% of the time. Lists with 3000+ pics remind one of Sisyphus.

PPPS: Maybe you could recruit players to do some of your moderation for you, for a reasonable reward in BTP. After all, it is important to your real players for picture galleries to be right, and they spend a lot of time looking around. Also, it would be helpful if we could use a report feature on baberater (especially) and on celebrater.

If they are cropped, altered, watermarked or otherwise photoshopped I combine them unless one picture isn't clearly better. In that case, I might keep both (like if one is bigger and better quality but it isn't the full picture or it has a watermark). If they are separate photos, I don't combine them.

This idea has been thrown around before. Not for any reward, just because people wanted to do it. I simply don't have the tools to open up moderation to users. And due to the number of things I'm looking for, I'm not sure they can get it right. Half of the users don't even get the upload screen right and the moderation tool that I have is much more complex than that. I have built a lot of functionality into it to save me time but it also makes it not very intuitive.

It basically gives a list of pictures each with check boxes for about a dozen things. Each check box might apply other check boxes to that picture and all the pictures after that picture. It saved me a ton of time since many pictures tend to be in streaks. Chances are if it is a bikini pic, the next pictures will also be in a bikini. It might be asking a lot of users and it certainly wouldn't load on a tablet since each page loads over 1000 images.

So yeah if I was ever to do that, I would have to design an interface for user moderation and have to do some serious consideration if it was the right thing to do at all.

Hmmm, you need check boxes for:
Male/female
Child
Nudity
Face visible
Multiple people in pic
Illegal activity in pic (murder, drugs, parking in handicap slot)

What else? Need the name (although you have anon pix), and is it a dup of an existing pic, and if so is it a replacement?

Ipad could handle a 3x3 screen, with 300x400 pics, and a popup function for larger view if needed. Checkboxes under pics. So, user gets a page of pics, checks the flags, and sends it back. Although, there is the whole screen rotation thing. 3x3 or 2x4.

Oh, and you need a flag for celeb list, for those pics the extremist whackos at google ads don't freak over.

BTW, can you send me some pix they had hissy fits over? I've been flagging my purchased pix to note those the mods got wrong (imo) but I'd like a clearer idea what gets hacked by them and what doesn't. I'll send you a list of what I've got some day when I have time.

So, couple of hot girls getting it on in a no parking zone and it gets circular filed? What about exposure on a public street? Heh, I'm poking fun, but maybe it could say criminalor felonious activity? Hmmm, public exposure is probably a felony and a sex crime in many jurisdictions, although there is huge double standard.

Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for any of that there illegal stuff, thought I saw a doobie here and there.

BTW, there are some images around of women with kids, kinda on the fence about them being in, one is in auction right now, although it is up soon.

I've been flagging both pix that got celeb links and probably shouldn't, there are more than I thought there would be. There are also quite a few that could have celeb links that don't. Some are pretty clear cut, some maybe not, although I'm trying to be cautious too. I know it isn't your standard, you are stuck with it by the advertiser.
