Has anyone had any issues with categories on pages they've submitted from Hotness Rater? In the last several days, everything is getting changed from Babes to Pornography no matter how racy or conservative the picture is.

I complained and they said it was fixed but the next page I tried adding was changed to Porn almost immediately. When that happens, it seems as if the page is taken out of the Stumble rotation, or however it works.

Frustrating. Some promising pics have come up empty as a result.

I haven't had it change anything I have submitted. I have it suggest the wrong one a lot but it still allows me to change it

I have noticed that some pictures go well and others just flop though like they have never received any views... not sure why that is

I'm not sure what is going on with StumbleUpon today... I am getting very little if any traffic from them. I am actually getting more from Facebook and Manteresting today

They finally fixed the porn issue after a couple of tries. But you're right, I'm O-fer today. Nothing has generated any traffic. Very unpredictable and very surprising who generates the most traffic.

What did you say to them? Anything that would have put the site on the radar for getting banned? They will ban you if you self promote too much

I noticed that. I submitted a ticket in the feedback section saying that it was changing the category to porn and that it wasn't porn. I got a response from a guy who said he fixed it and to let him know if it did it again. Sure enough it did it again, so I told him. He wrote back and told me he fixed it again. Everything seemed fine after that, except for the fact that everything stopped getting hits.

Hopefully it was an error and they will get it straightened out. I really hope that I didn't do anything that led to the banning. I did find it strange that all the hotnessrater additions were being changed to pornography. Whenever that happened, the traffic immediately stopped for that page. Perhaps a stumbleupon employee was offended by something. For what it's worth, I had no problems with celebrity rater or baberater before this.

Doesn't sound like it, this was their official response:

Your pages came to our attention because there was a high volume of pages on several domains being submitted by a small number of accounts. Some of these accounts had a high number of additions but very few Stumbles. Lastly, these domains had a high number of Stumblers that had blocked them indicating that they did not want to see anymore Stumbles from these accounts.

If we determine that a member account has been used for unauthorized promotional reasons, we generally do not restore access to the account.
