I might sound a bit harsh here, but Sasha Grey is beautiful, but her body is a little bit on the skinny side for me, but again that's just my personal preference.

She certainly is, and has been one of the more popular adult film stars, so maybe my tastes are in the minority on this one.

I think Sasha Grey is hot, on some angles she looks like Megan Fox, don't you think? I also doubt that a porn star would be successful in having a transition from porn flicks to mainstream films, because of her "dirty" image, so producers would be reluctant to hire her.

I am not sure but I think I have watched this woman. She has a beautiful face, good curves, and is very bold, all in all every thing to get featured in mainstream cinema. However, it is really difficult for former porn starts t become a part of major movie industry.

I think a lot of actresses when they first start out, will have made the more risky films to begin with, before they move on to Hollywood.

I think for a porn star that's well established like Sasha Grey was it's probably harder to make the transition because she's already well known for one style of movie.

@pwarbi, That's true, and there will always be a stigma when you work in the adult film industry, right? From my observation an unknown can be cast in a huge film if they are lucky enough. Just look at the stars of 50 Shades Of Grey.

I don't think the stigma is as bad as it used to be, as the adult film industry these days is being recognized as an actual part of the movies, rather than just seen as...Well, porn.

For an actor or actress to make the transition between adult films and the lead role in a Hollywood blockbuster, I think is still a few years away but there is going to come a time when I think it will happen.

@pwarbi, I think the closest "transition" that we have seen is Anna Nicole Smith, eventhough she only appeared in television and was not a porn actress per se. I agree that the transition is still a long time coming, but who knows, it might happen, right?

I do think that's the way the industry is moving and while the adult movie business will never be actually mainstream, that and Hollywood are becoming closer.

Having said that I think we're still a long way off a adult movie star walking down the red carpet at the Oscars!

I can't say I find that woman hot or attractive, at least the last pictures. In one of the pictures she is very well though, so it just shows that the photographer has a great influence too.

I don't know what to say about her hahaha
I know she's pretty, but I never thought she was gorgeous. I mean, she's hot. But I think the only reason she was so popular in the adult industry was her juvenile looks and her amazing skills

I think it's because of the make up, the shade doesn't necessarily suit her face, that's why she looks less pretty in some pictures.

While I generally agree with your point, I disagree with 50 Shades as an example; I'm not familiar with the girl, but Jamie Dornan is a pretty solid actor starring in a moderately known TV series (The Fall, with Gillian Anderson from The X-Files and Hannibal; he plays the antagonist) and does so exceedingly well. He was also on Once Upon A Time, another relatively well-known TV series.
There's just tons of actors we don't recognize as superstars who have an established career with prominent roles that we're not very aware of. My ex would often pause whatever we were watching on Netflix to check quickly on IMDB if some character was X character from X show, and she was generally right. With time, I realized we were often watching a bunch of really good actors in a ton of stuff that I wouldn't have noticed if not for her.

Pretty much, they have made it look a little odd, so eventually those last shots were made by an amateur or something like that...

I don't watch much tv, so I guess you're right, they must have appeared somewhere in other tv shows, we just haven't seen them yet.

Maybe not an amateur, but the angle doesn't suit her and play up her better features. She has a square jaw and it was unpleasantly emphasized in one pic. Her jaw should be covered if she's gonna be taken in that angle.

I just checked Sasha Grey, and found very interesting information. It says she is an actress, model, author, musician and former pornographic actress. It is interesting to note that she has acted in 315 adult movies.

I guess that these days more and more porn is being sold, so actors for that genre are more and more needed.

I'm unsure if there is anything that Sasha Grey hasn't done by now. I think she looks pretty good considering. I wonder if she's gotten bored with the profession now though. I imagine it might be pretty easy to branch out into regular acting.
