Who is Leyla Milani
Leyla is a Canadian-American model, television host, and retired actress. Milani was born in Iran and relocated to Toronto when she was four years old. She had a successful career before meeting her husband, Manuchehr (Manny) Khoshbin, an Iranian entrepreneur, real estate investor, and author.
Leyla is also an entrepreneur, having founded the hair care company Leyla Milani Hair. She was also featured in World Wrestling Entertainment’s Diva Search in 2005, and she worked as a briefcase model on Deal or No Deal from 2005 to 2009.
Hear Early Life
Leyla Milani Khoshbin was born on April 2, 1982, in Toronto. Leyla’s local celebrity began at the age of 12 when she hosted an after-school television show. With a rush of local modeling assignments and runway appearances, she was already an in-demand face at a young age.
After high school, the family relocated from Toronto to Los Angeles. This was exactly where Leyla wanted to be. With all of her options open, she enrolled in Los Angeles’ Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Amazingly, by the age of 20, Leyla Jeans Couture, her high-end contemporary denim line, was already making waves in the industry. Another Leyla-inspired line was a hit with customers, and the collection finally made its way into the huge Forever 21 locations nationwide.
Career Journey
Leyla, also known as Lucky #13, can be seen in a number of popular network shows, forthcoming films, and a new Budweiser commercial that will air nationally.
In addition to her work on the big screen, Leylai co-stars in My Network TV’s “Desire: Table for Three.” She’s also co-starred in an episode of Showtime’s hit series “Sleeper Cell,” and her guest co-starring role on FOX TV’s “Stacked” pitted her against Pam Anderson. Her guest appearance as a sexy diamond thief on the show “Las Vegas,” alongside Josh Duhamel and James Caan.
Her go-getter mentality paid off when Hollywood took notice, and Leyla began to appear more frequently on the little and huge screens. She has been on several popular television shows, including CMT’s reality show Popularity Contest, TNT’s new drama Wanted, and Larry David’s HBO blockbuster Curb Your Enthusiasm. She recently returned from Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she appeared on Show Fight, Brazil’s version of UFC, which airs throughout South America.
Her WWE Career
Leyla Milani competed in the 2005 WWE Diva Search and finished second out of 8,000 contestants globally. Following that, she appeared on Pro Wrestling Guerrilla After School Special. After competing in the WWE Diva Search, she adopted the stage name Leyla Milani.
She later appeared in one of the USA Network’s WWE Raw Fan Nation commercials, which are a series of advertisements for WWE Raw starring everyone from a stockbroker to Snoop Dogg.
Milani was the former co-host of Jimmy Hart’s all-women wrestling show, Wrestlicious TakeDown, which aired on March 1, 2010. She was replaced by Brooke Lynn on the March 31, 2010, program due to schedule problems.

Leyla Milan has appeared on Fox News’ conservative spoof show The Half Hour News Hour and Redeye as a star seeking charitable assistance. She hosted both FOX Sports Net’s Celebrity Golf Tournament and Fuel TV’s M80 motorsports show. Leyla also appeared in the LOGO channel series Noah’s Arc as a woman seeking a job. She has also appeared in MTV’s True Life: I’m A TV Star and My Fair Brady.
Leyla Milan starred in an online comedy web series for Experian Credit with comedian Pauly Shore, where she played a bride-to-be with terrible credit. Other stars who starred in this web series included Vivica A. Fox, Michael Madsen, and Danny Glover.
She appeared in an episode of NBC’s Last Comic Standing and Phenomenon. Leyla was also a referee at the 2006 Lingerie Bowl.
She was also featured in the TLC show Secrets of a Trophy Wife, which aired on December 8, 2012.
