Who is Kriti Sanon
Kriti is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Hindi movies. She has received a National Film Award, two Filmfare Awards, and was named to Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list in 2019.
Kriti won the National Film Award and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her role as a surrogate mother in the comedy-drama Mimi (2021). This was followed by a string of commercially failed films, including the high-budget and controversial Adipurush (2023), although the comedy horror Bhediya (2022) was favorably regarded. Sanon has since enjoyed commercial success with the 2024 comedies Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Crew.

Her Early Life
Kriti Sanon was born on July 27, 1990, in New Delhi. Her mother is a physics professor at the University of Delhi, while her father is a chartered accountant. She is part of a Punjabi Hindu family. Her younger sister, Nupur Sanon, is also an actress.
Kriti attended Delhi Public School in R.K. Puram and then earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology in Noida.
Career Journey
After earning an engineering degree from the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Kriti briefly worked as a fashion model. She began her acting career as the principal actress in the 2014 action movie 1: Nenokkadine and Heropanti. The latter garnered her a Filmfare award for Best Female Debut.
