Born on March 10, 1973, she got her start in Prague before taking her talents to Paris, where her career really took off.

From gracing the covers of glossy magazines to strutting down runways for fashion’s biggest names, Eva became a bona fide style icon. And because one spotlight just wasn’t enough, she also dipped her perfectly manicured toes into acting, appearing in films like Les Anges gardiens and Modigliani.

Eva Herzigová was born on March 10, 1973, in Litvínov, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic), to an accountant mother, also named Eva, and an electrician father. Eva Herzigová’s modeling career kicked off at just 16, when she won a modeling contest in Prague in 1989, hosted by the French agency Metropolitan Models. Life soon took a happier turn when she met Italian businessman Gregorio Marsiaj. Together, they welcomed three sons — George in 2007, Philip in 2011, and Edward in 2013 — and settled down in Italy. In 2017, the couple made things official with an engagement.
