The Natural Redheads In The Entertainment Industry

Not too long ago, we put together a list of redheads in the adult industry over on our sister site, Babesrater.com.  Fun as that was, we couldn’t shake the feeling that we were leaving this site out of the action.  So, we decided to give the spotlight to a different kind of flame-haired stunner—natural redheads from across the entertainment world.

Think Hollywood’s fiery beauties, and not just the ones lighting up the big screen.  This lineup also includes fashion icons and other dazzling figures who’ve made their mark beyond acting.

So, without further delay—and in no particular order of hotness—let’s meet the stunning natural redheads who prove that fiery is more than just a hair color.

Karen Gillan

Karen Gillan is a Scottish actress, filmmaker, and former model who’s made her mark on both sides of the Atlantic.  She first won hearts (and probably broke a few) as Amy Pond, the feisty companion in Doctor Who.  Hollywood soon came calling, and she’s since kicked butt as the blue-skinned Nebula in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and brought plenty of laughs as Ruby Roundhouse in the Jumanji movies.

Karen Gillan

In true “all in for the role” fashion, Karen even shaved off her natural auburn hair to play Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy.  Don’t worry—her hair eventually grew back, but her fearless commitment to a part has been turning heads ever since.

April Bowlby is an American actress you’ve probably seen stealing scenes on TV—whether as Kandi, Alan’s bubbly girlfriend/wife/ex-wife in Two and a Half Men, or as the shape-shifting Rita Farr (a.k.a. Elasti-Woman) in Doom Patrol.  She even popped up as Crazy Meg in How I Met Your Mother, proving she can make “delightfully unhinged” look effortless.

April Bowlby

Fun fact: April Bowlby was the very first actress to bring Rita Farr, a.k.a. Elasti-Woman, to life in a live-action role. And when she’s not busy saving the day on-screen, she’s flexing her intellectual superpowers as the host of 75 Reads, a podcast that explores David Bowie’s favorite books—because why be just a superhero when you can be a literary adventurer too?

Kate is also a natural redhead, often rocking shades that range from warm auburn to deep, rich tones.  She’s dabbled in other colors (yes, even blonde), but she always seems to circle back to her signature fiery look—because when something works, why mess with it?
