WNBA’s Lexie Brown Is Just Sizzling Hot

Now, here’s another super hottie from the WNBA.  We can’t help but feature a lot of them because…  Oh, you damn well know they are hot and they deserve a feature here.

Lexie Brown

Now, ladies and gents, this is Lexie Brown.  She’s got the looks of a superstar both in and out of the court.  Her legs are killer, I know, but that is only a part of what she’s got.  Let us now get to know this babe, shall we?

Who is Lexie Brown

Lexie Brown is an American professional basketball guard currently with the Seattle Storm.  She was selected ninth overall in the 2018 WNBA Draft by the Connecticut Sun — and from there, she’s built a career defined by versatility, championship experience, and steady scoring.

Lexie captured a WNBA title in 2021 with the Chicago Sky, adding “champion” to her résumé.  Along the way, she’s also suited up for the Minnesota Lynx and the Los Angeles Sparks, proving she can plug in and produce wherever she lands.

Before turning pro, she played college basketball at University of Maryland and Duke University — because apparently one powerhouse program wasn’t enough.  Quick, confident, and comfortable in big moments, Lexie Brown’s career has been all about showing up ready, whether it’s draft night or championship night.

Her Early Life

Lexie Brown — full name Alexis Kiah Brown — was born on October 27, 1994, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Tammy and Dee Brown.  If that last name sounds familiar, it should.  Her dad played 12 seasons in the NBA as a point guard, most notably with the Boston Celtics, and even won the 1991 Slam Dunk Contest.  So yes, basketball was very much in the family business.

Lexie started her high school career at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida, helping the team post its first-ever undefeated regular season.  Not a bad freshman year résumé builder.  She later transferred to North Gwinnett High School in Georgia, where she kept the momentum going — leading her team to the state semifinals as a junior and the Class 5-A state championship game as a senior.

Beyond high school ball, she also competed with the A.O.T. AAU team and earned a spot in the prestigious McDonald’s All-American Game in 2013.  From early undefeated seasons to national spotlight moments, Lexie’s path was clearly pointing one way — straight to the next level.

Career Journey

Lexie Brown was selected ninth overall in the 2018 WNBA Draft by the Connecticut Sun.  As a rookie, she appeared in 22 games, averaging 1.7 points in just over five minutes per contest.  The numbers were modest, but she carved out a role as an energetic scorer off the bench — the kind of player who can heat up quickly when called upon.

In April 2021, she signed a training camp contract with the Chicago Sky.  She was waived just before the season opener (the business side of basketball can be ruthless), but re-signed a few weeks later on June 1. Plot twist: Chicago went on to win the WNBA championship that season.  Talk about a comeback arc.

On March 30, 2022, the Sky traded Lexie to the Los Angeles Sparks in exchange for the rights to Li Yueru, giving her a fresh start on the West Coast.

The 2023 season, however, was far from easy.  Lexie spent the year battling untreated and undiagnosed Crohn’s disease — a challenge that affected her health and performance behind the scenes.  It added a layer of resilience to her story that stats alone don’t show.

Then on February 14, 2025, she was traded to the Seattle Storm along with the 26th pick in the 2025 draft, in exchange for the 21st pick and a 2027 second-round selection.  New city, new opportunity.

From draft night to championship celebrations to personal health battles, Lexie Brown’s journey has been anything but linear — but through it all, she’s kept showing up ready for the next chapter.

Facts and Trivia

After the 2018 WNBA season wrapped up, Lexie Brown took her talents overseas, signing with CMB Cargo Uni Győr in Hungary’s top women’s basketball league.  Because if you’re going to expand your game, why not make it international?

Off the court, Lexie has proven she can hold a mic just as confidently as a basketball.  She’s co-hosted the Gilbert Arenas Podcast and worked as a women’s basketball analyst for the ACC Network — breaking down plays with the same IQ she brings to running them.

Nicknamed a “basketball junkie,” she’s known for her shooting touch and competitive streak. Case in point: she once won a shooting bet competition against both men and women — and the arena was temporarily renamed “Lexis Arena.”  Iconic behavior.

She’s also been a steady presence in Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball since its inaugural season.  Over the years, she’s climbed into the league’s all-time statistical leaderboards, ranking high in points, three-pointers made, steals, assists, and even quarter wins.  In 2022, she earned All-Defensive Team honors, proving she’s not just about buckets.

During the 2024 season, she finished seventh in the final standings, averaging 16.0 points per game while ranking among league leaders in steals and three-point efficiency.  In October 2025, she signed on for her fifth season with Athletes Unlimited — basically making it clear she’s not going anywhere.

Shooter.  Analyst.  Overseas pro.  League mainstay.  Lexie Brown stays busy — and stays ready.
