Lizzy Wurst and Lance Stewart were high school sweethearts with a very 21st-century love story. In a “Boyfriend Tag” video, Lizzy shared that she first spotted Lance walking across the street and instantly thought, “Yep, that one.” She made it her mission to find out who he was—and with a little Instagram sleuthing, she not only uncovered his name but slid right into his DMs to let him know she thought he was cute. One follow-back and a few flirty messages later, they were officially dating. When Lance finally asked her to be his girlfriend, Lizzy said yes—and the rest is internet history.
Things took a dramatic turn, though, when Lizzy and her mom—who’s also online—had a major falling out.
