This Colombian goddess has that unforgettable beauty, and we won’t be surprised if you decide to bookmark this one after ogling at her gallery, of course.  So, enough intro and let’s get to the good stuff, shall we?

Who is Jery Sandoval

Jery Sandoval is a Colombian actress, singer, songwriter, and model—basically a one-woman talent agency.  She’s best known for her telenovela roles, especially as Regina Corona in Código Postal and María Reyes in Los Reyes.

She got into acting as a teenager (because apparently she didn’t believe in waiting around), and quickly made a name for herself on Colombian TV with Los Reyes.  From there, she leveled up to Mexican television, landing a major role in Código Postal and appearing in a solid 88 episodes—yes, that’s a lot of dramatic entrances and perfectly timed plot twists.

Her résumé doesn’t stop there.  She’s also popped up in shows like Popland! as Nicole and La Madame as Lisa, proving she’s got range—and probably a very organized script collection.

Over the years, Jery has built a steady career across Latin American television, becoming a familiar face in the telenovela world.  If there’s drama, romance, or a jaw-dropping plot twist involved, chances are…  she fits right in.

Her Early Life

Jery Sandoval—born Jery Luz Sandoval Sanabria on December 18, 1986—is a proud Barranquilla native, straight out of Colombia’s vibrant Caribbean coast (aka a place where music, energy, and personality are basically part of the air).

She grew up in nearby Carmen de Bolívar, and from a young age, it was pretty clear she wasn’t destined for a quiet life.  At just eight years old, she was already singing—whether at her dad’s parties or with her school’s tuna ensemble (yes, the musical kind, not the sandwich).  Basically, if there was a microphone nearby, Jery had already claimed it.

As a teenager, she stepped things up by joining a local group called Notas y Colores, where she served as the lead vocalist, performing ballads and Afro-Antillean music.  Translation: she was already the main character.

And she didn’t stop there.  At just 12 years old, she kicked off her professional journey as a radio host—because apparently, middle school wasn’t busy enough.  She also dipped her toes into beauty pageants, even snagging second place in the Miss Miércoles competition.

All these early gigs—singing, hosting, pageants—were basically her training montage.  And spoiler alert: they worked.

Career Journey

Jery Sandoval kicked off her acting career in the early 2000s, easing into the telenovela world before fully owning it.  Her first known role came in Al ritmo de tu corazón (2004), where she played Cata across 40 episodes—so not exactly a blink-and-you-miss-it debut.

She followed that up with a role in Los Reyes (2005) as María Reyes.  While it was a smaller role (three episodes), it kept her momentum going and helped her stay on the radar in Colombian television—basically her “don’t forget me, I’m just getting started” phase.

Then came the glow-up.

Jery’s big break arrived when she landed the lead role of Regina Corona in Código Postal (2006–2007), a youth telenovela produced by Televisa.  She appeared in 88 episodes, officially leveling up from rising star to full-on leading lady—and doing it on an international stage in Mexico.  Casual.  She even shared the screen with big names like Verónica Castro, which is basically the telenovela equivalent of being thrown straight into the major leagues.

Now, plot twist: she didn’t stay until the very end.  Her character was later continued (with a name change, no less) by África Zavala.  Why?  Because Jery had music plans calling her name—she signed a deal with Universal Music Group and headed to the U.S. for a bit.  When the music industry calls, you pick up.

In the years that followed, she kept things interesting with a mix of projects.  In 2011, she starred as Nicole in Popland!, proving she could handle comedy-drama just as well as classic telenovela intensity.  In 2013, she made an appearance in La Madame, and in 2017, she switched things up completely by joining the reality competition Soldados 1.0 (yes, military-themed.  No, not your typical acting gig).  She bowed out after 30 days—honestly, still impressive.

Since then, her TV appearances have been more low-key, but she’s stayed active in entertainment overall.  Because once you’ve done telenovelas, music, and reality TV…  you’ve basically unlocked the full career skill tree.

Facts and Trivia

Jery Sandoval isn’t just about acting—she’s been running a full-on side quest in music too.  Singing, songwriting, performing… basically, she said “why pick one career when you can have several?”

In 2009, she dropped the single “Astronauta,” a dreamy, slightly moody pop track that showed off her more experimental side.  And because one version wasn’t enough, it even got a remix by Space Cowboy—because apparently we’re going to space and the dance floor.

She’s also kept her music alive online, sharing content like “A Tu Lado” and more Astronauta material on her YouTube channel—so yes, the vibes are just a click away.

And as if acting and music weren’t enough, Jery also stepped confidently into the modeling world.  She’s been described as a true multi-hyphenate—actress, singer, DJ, model…  honestly, at this point, just add “overachiever” to the list.

One standout moment?  She appeared as the featured model in “Travesuras” by Nicky Jam, which helped spark her interest in urban music (because clearly, she hadn’t explored enough genres yet).  She also did a professional photoshoot at Universal Latin Entertainment headquarters in Miami Beach back in 2009—just casually adding “international shoot” to her résumé.

In short: if there’s a creative lane, Jery’s probably already tried it—and looked good doing it.
