Emeraude Toubia is like an angel sent to us just to…  You know.  Make us adore her.  And yes, she is deserving of that adoration, what with her looks?  Oh, yeah…

Classy and classic is what best describes her beauty.  And I don’t really think there is someone in existence who will find her unattractive.  If there is such a person, well…  he/she (they/them) should be committed.  Or maybe retain a little bit of honor and commit hara-kiri.

Who is Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian-born actress with Mexican and Lebanese roots—so yes, talent and good genes clearly teamed up here.

She’s best known for her breakout role as Isabelle Lightwood in Shadowhunters (2016–2019), where she basically turned “effortlessly cool warrior” into a personality trait.  Raised in Brownsville, Texas, she started out in beauty pageants and telenovelas before making her way into bigger international projects, including With Love and the 2025 horror film Rosario.

Before all that, she was already putting in the work—training in classical ballet, flamenco, and belly dance, because apparently being multitalented was always part of the plan.

She first caught attention in the pageant world, winning titles like Miss South Texas and Miss Rio Grande Valley America, and later competing on Nuestra Belleza Latina.  From there, it was a steady climb from crowns to cameras—and she made it look easy.

Her Early Life

Emeraude Toubia was born in Montreal, Canada, but grew up in Brownsville, Texas—so she’s got that perfect mix of international roots and small-city charm.

She’s an only child, raised by her mother, Mirta Sonia (from Ciudad Victoria, Mexico), and her father, Gaby Toubia, who comes from a Lebanese-American family.  In short: a beautifully blended background that definitely adds to her unique presence.

She attended Homer Hanna High School in Brownsville, and by the time she was 15, she was already deep into the pageant world—collecting titles like Miss South Texas, Miss Rio Grande Valley America, and Miss Teen Brownsville.

Some people spend their teenage years figuring things out…  Emeraude was already winning crowns.

Career Journey

Emeraude Toubia got an early start—like, really early.  At just 10 years old, she made her first TV appearance on El Mundo de los Niños, which is a pretty bold move for someone still in elementary school.

She stepped into the spotlight in a big way in 2008 when she joined Nuestra Belleza Latina.  The show basically puts contestants through a full-on boot camp of acting, hosting, dancing—you name it—and Emeraude came out as first runner-up.  Not quite the crown, but definitely a major win. From there, brands like Maybelline, JCPenney, Sony, Garnier, and AT&T came calling.

She kept the momentum going in 2009 with Model Latina, finishing fifth, and later made it to the semifinals of Miss Texas USA 2010—because clearly, she wasn’t done competing yet.

From 2011 to 2013, she shifted into hosting, appearing on shows like The Arena, 18 & Over, and mun2POP on NBC Universo.  She even co-hosted the red carpet for the 2013 Billboard Latin Music Awards—so yes, she was already working the spotlight from every angle.

Her acting career officially kicked off in 2013 with a role in 11-11: En mi cuadra nada cuadra, where she was coached by Adriana Barraza—which is basically getting trained by the best.

She followed that up with roles in Cosita Linda (2014) and Voltea pa’ que te enamores (2015), steadily building her acting résumé.  Then came her big breakout moment in 2016 as Isabelle Lightwood in Shadowhunters—a role that turned her into a global fan favorite.  That same year, she also appeared in “Culpa al Corazón” by Prince Royce, because why not add music videos to the mix?

Since 2021, she’s been starring as Lily Diaz in With Love, showing off her rom-com side.  And with more projects on the way, including The Redo, it’s safe to say—she’s still very much in her main character era.

Facts and Trivia

Emeraude Toubia has had a love life that’s been just as headline-worthy as her career.  She began dating Prince Royce in 2011, and the two tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, in 2018.  They later went their separate ways in 2022.  Since 2023, she’s been in a relationship with Lithuanian actor Arnas Fedaravicius—so yes, still keeping things international.

Beyond the spotlight, she also gives back.  Emeraude supports the Get Schooled initiative, and in 2016, she even stepped in as a “celebrity principal” for a day at a high school in California—because apparently, adding “principal” to her résumé was a natural next step.

And when it comes to staying red-carpet ready, she swears by hot yoga and power yoga.  Basically, if there’s a way to stay glowing, centered, and camera-ready at the same time—she’s already doing it.

Her Body Measurements

Emeraude stands 5 feet, 4.5 inches and she totally rocks a 37D-25-36 figure.
