Kamie Crawford was born on October 25, 1992, in Cleveland, Ohio, before moving to Maryland after first grade. A few months later, in July 2010, she represented Maryland at Miss Teen USA—and made history as the first contestant from her state to win the national title. Not a bad debut season.

From there, she expanded into modeling, signing with JAG Models in 2013 and later stepping into the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit spotlight. By 2022, she was named a Swimsuit Rookie alongside names like Kim Kardashian and Ciara, and she’s been a regular ever since—including the magazine’s 60th anniversary issue in 2024.
