Who is Ashleigh Menin?
This 24-year-old babe was born in Sydney, Australia on March 10, 2000. She is of Italian descent and has two siblings. She graduated from Marist Sisters College, Woolwich, in 2018.
“I’m a super-creative person and have always had a passion for art, photography, and make-up, so I love that my job combines all of those aspects. I love traveling and have been fortunate enough to travel quite a lot, both domestically and internationally, for my job.
Career
Ashleigh worked full-time in social media prior to becoming a model. After graduating from high school, she spent a semester studying fashion business before focusing solely on mainstream and Instagram modeling.
Ashleigh was noticed on Instagram by a modeling agency when she was 15 years old, and she worked for the firm for three years before opting to become independent. Yes, she does freelance because she wants greater creative flexibility with her postures and images.
“I genuinely just love creating content. I remember when I was 13 I begged my dad for my first DSLR camera and started taking photos of myself and my travels sharing them to Instagram for fun. Fast forward seven years – I never thought taking photos would end up being my full-time job. Instagram is such an amazing platform and I will be forever grateful for all the incredible opportunities it has brought me. From collaborating with my favorite brands to traveling the world and connecting with so many beautiful people, it has also allowed me to meet and work with so many other creators which I’m now lucky enough to call my friends.”
Her deep imagination and enthusiasm for photography are what led her along this route. Fast forward to now, Ashleigh never imagined that taking photographs would become her full-time job.
Facts and Trivia
Ashleigh, when not busy, enjoys going to the beach, listening to podcasts, doing photography, and binge-watching Netflix.
She is also quite introverted…
“I feel like people wouldn’t really expect that from me because of my modeling and social media. Although my job requires me to travel, network, and socialize quite a bit, I’m definitely a big homebody at heart and would usually prefer lounging around at home in my comfy clothes watching Netflix.”
Ashleigh is into guys whom she can trust and who is understanding, supportive, and thoughtful.
As for how she spends her ordinary day…
“Every morning without a doubt I wake up, have a cup of coffee and a big brekky while I watch the latest YouTube videos from my favorite creators. I’ll then do my morning skincare routine and get ready for the day – which is always different for me! I always get to shoot with new teams at new locations and that’s what I love most about my job. The days where I’m not shooting are usually spent getting content photos, doing admin, running errands, or spending time with family and friends and my boyfriend.”
