Kristina Romanova Is Probably The Hottest CEO You’ll See

A transition from being a supermodel to a CEO…  Oh, as smooth as her skin.  Kristina Romanova is a woman you just admire.  She’s got it all.  Looks, brains, skills, and guts.  But of course, we are featuring her here not because of the last three.  It’s her looks (like with most) that got her a spot here on our beloved website.  Just take a long, good look.

So let’s get to know this woman now, friends…

Who is Kristina Romanova

Kristina Romanova is a Russian fashion model who didn’t just stay in front of the camera—she went ahead and ran the show too.  She’s now the CEO and creative director of Aman Essentials, because apparently modeling wasn’t ambitious enough.

She first made her mark in fashion as a model, quickly gaining attention for her versatile look and landing some standout opportunities—including appearing alongside Avicii in one of his early hit music videos (casual, right?).

Since then, she’s continued working with high-end brands across both traditional and digital platforms, building a career that blends style with strategy.  These days, she’s not just part of the luxury world—she’s helping shape it, leading Aman Essentials with the same confidence she once brought to the runway.

Her Early Life

Kristina Romanova was born on June 11, 1994, in Volgograd, Russia, and grew up in a middle-class family with entrepreneurial parents, so the ambition was clearly already in the DNA.

Funny enough, modeling wasn’t even part of the original plan.  It took a little push from her friends to get her to visit a local agency…  where she was immediately scouted.  Casual life-changing moment.

By 15, she was already signed, and at 16, she packed her bags and moved to New York City to kick off her international career.  No big deal—just leaving home as a teenager to chase the fashion dream in one of the toughest cities in the world.

Her first trip abroad came with a mix of nerves and excitement (understandably), especially as she transitioned from a background in dancing to walking runways.  Different stage, same spotlight—and clearly, she figured it out pretty quickly.

Career Journey

After moving to New York, Kristina Romanova wasted zero time.  In her very first fashion season, she walked in over 20 shows—starting strong with BCBG Max Azria and basically not looking back.

From there, she quickly became a go-to model, working with major names like Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, and Dolce & Gabbana.  Not a bad contact list, right?

She also had a major pop culture moment in 2013, starring in Avicii’s Wake Me Up music video—which, let’s be honest, everyone has heard at least once (or a hundred times).

Her runway résumé just kept growing, with appearances for brands like Alexander McQueen, Jean Paul Gaultier, Yohji Yamamoto, Moschino, Alberta Ferretti, and Dries Van Noten.  Basically, if it was Fashion Week, she was probably booked.

She also became the face of Vera Wang’s Princess fragrance from 2013 to 2023—a full decade, which in fashion years is basically legendary status.

Then came the plot twist: business mode.

In 2020, she stepped into a leadership role with Aman Resorts as Head of Retail, and by 2022, she was running the show as CEO of Aman Essentials.  Her approach?  Think “skinimalism”—clean, simple, effective.  No extra fluff, just results.

By 2023, she even partnered with Kosé to launch a skincare line available in Aman resorts—because apparently, fashion, business, and beauty weren’t enough lanes to dominate.

As CEO, Kristina has turned Aman Essentials into a brand that’s all about timeless style, high-quality materials, and doing things the right way (yes, that includes sustainability).  She champions “slow fashion,” focusing on pieces that last, ethical production, and less waste—basically the opposite of throwaway trends.

Add in her focus on inclusivity and body positivity, and you’ve got a brand that’s not just stylish, but actually thoughtful.  From design to marketing, she’s hands-on with everything—making sure each piece reflects her vision: simple, modern, and built to last.

Facts and Trivia

Kristina Romanova has been in a relationship with real estate developer Vladislav Doronin since 2015, and together they have two children—so yes, she’s balancing boardrooms, fashion, and family life like a pro.

In 2018, during the MeToo movement, she teamed up with Antoniette Costa to launch Humans of Fashion, a non-profit and app aimed at addressing abuse and misconduct in the modeling and fashion industries.  Because clearly, she’s not just here for the aesthetics—she’s here to make change too.

Outside of her business ventures, Kristina stays connected with her audience through social media, giving glimpses into her creative process and the ethical thinking behind Aman Essentials.  It’s equal parts fashion diary and behind-the-scenes masterclass.

At this point, she’s not just building a brand—she’s building a reputation as someone who knows how to mix style with substance…  and make it look effortless.

Her Body Measurements

Kristina stands 5 feet, 11 inches and she possesses a 32-23-34 slim figure.
