This, our dear readers is Pia Muehlenbeck. She’s a lawyer (who left the corporate world in pursuit of a career in modeling and blogging), a model, a fashion designer, and an entrepreneur (whew, that’s like a handful). She founded Slinkii Athletic (a luxury sportswear label) and is the market editor for Grazia Australia. Pia is also an Instagram phenomenon. She has amassed more than 1.9 million followers (a million in only 12 months, man) on the said photo sharing site.
Born in Reutlingen, Germany, this social influencer and qualified lawyer now calls Sydney, Australia her home. She and her family relocated to the Gold Coast, Australia, when she was only eight years old. She then was quickly forced to learn a new language (you would too if you’re going to be thrust in a new school. Well, that or just accept the daily bullying, you outcast). Pia mastered her second language within only months and went to become an exemplary student. She graduated at the top of her class in high school (she later earned a scholarship to Bond University to study law and communications).
She attended Aquinas College, where she won the school’s Public Speaking Competition in 2006 and 2007 and was a member of the debate team. She began her law studies at Bond University after winning the Bond University DUX Collegiate Scholarship. She then moved to Sydney to earn her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Technology.
Pia Meuhlenbeck is not married but this babe who’s pretty proud of her tummy (who wouldn’t be?) is in a relationship with Kane Vato. And the couple is doing their part in taking care of the planet…
Pia and Kane work with One Tree Planted, a non-profit and environmental conservation organization that combats deforestation, through donations made from each SLINKII product that is sold. And that’s no ordinary feat, we mean, when you consider that their bestsellers have completely sold out (four production runs with their ultimate bestseller, mind you) equating to thousands of trees planted!
They are doing their part. She beautifies not just your PCs (or Macs) and mobile screens (through Instagram and other social media sites) but also the planet where we live in.
