I know, I know…  You are excited for the gallery at the end…  But my good man (or woman), please do take the time to get to know who this woman is, as it makes her a hundred times hotter.

Who is Claudia Arce

Claudia Arce is a Bolivian actress, singer, model, and beauty queen whose career has spanned entertainment, fashion, and pageantry.  She first rose to national prominence after being crowned Miss Bolivia 2009, representing the Department of Chuquisaca and capturing the attention of judges and audiences alike.

During the competition, Arce distinguished herself by winning additional honors, including the Yanbal Face Best Smile award and Best National Costume—proof that she brought both charisma and style to the stage.  Her victory earned her the opportunity to represent Bolivia internationally, beginning with the Queen of the World 2009 competition in Berlin, Germany.

The following year, Arce took her place on one of the world’s most famous pageant stages as Bolivia’s representative at Miss Universe 2010. Although she did not place in the competition, her participation carried historical significance. She became the first woman from Bolivia’s Department of Chuquisaca to compete at Miss Universe, marking an important milestone for the region.

While pageant crowns may have introduced her to a wider audience, Arce’s career has extended well beyond the competition circuit.  With accomplishments in acting, music, and modeling, she has built a multifaceted career that reflects the versatility and determination that first helped her stand out on the pageant stage.

Her Early Life

Claudia Arce was born on April 4, 1991, in Sucre, Bolivia, and she comes from a family with deep historical roots.  She is the daughter of Marcelo Arce Scott and Denisse Lourdes Lemaitre Zilvetti and is a direct descendant of Aniceto Arce, the lawyer, politician, and former president who led Bolivia from 1888 to 1892.  You could say public recognition runs in the family—although Claudia ultimately chose a very different spotlight.

Before making her mark in entertainment and pageantry, Arce built an impressive academic résumé.  She initially pursued industrial engineering before later shifting her focus to business administration at the Private University of the Valley. But even that only tells part of the story.

As a student, Arce excelled in science competitions, earning first-place finishes in Bolivia’s national Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, and Astrophysics contests between 2005 and 2007.  Her achievements were so notable that she was nominated to participate in the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics in Indonesia in 2008.  Not every beauty queen can discuss black holes and chemical equations with equal confidence.

Adding to her impressive list of talents, Arce is multilingual and speaks Spanish, English, and German.  The combination of academic achievement, international experience, and language skills helped distinguish her long before she stepped onto a pageant stage.

Her connection to Bolivia’s history has also remained an important part of her public life.  Arce was invited as a special guest to major national celebrations, including the Bicentennial of the First Cry for Freedom in South America in her hometown of Sucre, as well as the Bicentennial anniversary celebrations in La Paz. It’s a fitting role for someone whose own family history is woven into the story of the nation itself.

Career Journey

During her reign as Miss Bolivia, Claudia Arce maintained a packed schedule that took her across the country and beyond.  As part of her official duties, she visited several municipalities in the Beni department and traveled to Lima, Peru, where she participated in a photo shoot for Yanbal’s year-end catalog.  Her growing profile also led to appearances as the image of Fancesa at Fexpocruz 2009 and as a featured model at Samsung’s Teleinformática fair, among numerous other promotional events.

Arce’s time as Miss Bolivia became particularly notable for its length. Due to a scheduling change by the pageant organization, which moved the annual competition from May to August, she ended up holding the title longer than any other Miss Bolivia in the event’s history.  Most beauty queens enjoy their reigns.  Arce got the extended edition.

Her role also provided opportunities to support charitable causes.  Between November and December 2011, she traveled throughout India with the children’s charity organization Healthy Kids, Happy Kids.  Founded by Satish Sikha, the organization focused on providing food, clothing, and medical care to thousands of children in need.  The experience added an important humanitarian chapter to a year already filled with international travel and public engagements.

After her pageant career, Arce successfully transitioned into television and entertainment.  Since 2013, she has worked as a news and entertainment presenter for Bolivia’s ATB television network, becoming a familiar face to viewers across the country.  She has also explored acting, appearing in several local theatrical productions and expanding her presence beyond television hosting.

Music eventually found its way onto her résumé as well.  Arce sang and acted in the music video for The Full Moon (Luna Llena), a project directed and produced by Gotham Skyline Productions.  By that point, she had already added pageant winner, television host, actress, and humanitarian to her list of accomplishments.  A music video appearance simply felt like the next logical chapter in an already multifaceted career.

Facts and Trivia

Claudia Arce’s connection to Bolivia extends beyond national pageants and television screens.  She is a direct descendant of Aniceto Arce, the country’s 22nd president, who served from 1888 to 1892.  It’s a family link that places her within a notable chapter of Bolivian history—and adds a fascinating historical footnote to an already diverse résumé.  Long before Claudia was representing Bolivia on international stages, one of her ancestors was helping shape the nation itself.
