The 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition has been officially released. For the first time, the long awaited magazine has three different covers: Hailey Clauson, Ashley Graham and Ronda Rousey. By releasing these three covers, it appears as if Sports Illustrated is trying to branch out and celebrate beauty in all shapes and sizes. Hailey is the normal kind of body shape you would expect on the magazine while Ashley is a plus size model and Ronda is a lot more umm… muscular than most past Sports Illustrated cover models.
What do you think? Are readers going to accept this wider definition of beauty that Sports Illustrated is attempting to deliver or is the whole thing just a big, fat mistake?
