This gorgeous woman deserves a spot on our Friday Feature. Very much like how she deserved that Oscar. Mikey Madison will soon be in the ranks of the highest-paid and most sought-after actresses in Hollywood. And that is all thanks to her acting skills and looks.

Who is Mikey Madison?
Mikey Madison is an award-winning American actress who began her career in short films before becoming well-known for her part as a moody adolescent in the FX comedy series Better Things (2016-2022). She later starred as Susan Atkins in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) and Amber Freeman in Scream (2022).
Mikey received numerous accolades for her debut role as a sex worker in Sean Baker’s film Anora (2024), including BAFTA and Academy Award nominations for Best Actress. She is the first member of Generation Z to receive an acting Oscar.
Her Early Life
Mikaela Madison Rosberg was born in L.A. on March 25, 1999. Both of her parents are psychologists. She has two brothers, one of whom is her twin, and two sisters. She spent her early years in Santa Clarita, a Los Angeles suburb, before her family relocated to the Woodland Hills section of Los Angeles.
Mikey Madison started out as a competitive equestrian rider before becoming an actor at the age of 14. She was homeschooled after sixth grade.
Career Journey
Mikey was homeschooled beginning in seventh grade so that she could spend the entire day with her pony. However, by the age of 14, she had developed an interest in acting. Mikey’s mother put her in acting classes, and she quickly found a manager and began landing roles in short films and a low-budget feature that didn’t appear until 2017. Madison had already earned a significant television role, establishing herself as a rising star.
Mikey was cast as the eldest daughter of Pamela Adlon, co-creator and actress of the FX dramedy Better Things, in 2016. She was still underage when she got the part. Better Things would eventually continue for five seasons, earning a Peabody Award in 2017. Madison appeared as the younger version of actor Inbar Lavi in the Bravo series Imposters and had minor roles in two feature films, the courtroom thriller Monster and the indie ensemble drama Nostalgia.
Mikey was recognized for her appearance as Manson Family member Susan “Sadie” Atkins in Quentin Tarantino’s period drama film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Mikey was cast as Amber Freeman in Scream, the fifth installment of the Scream franchise, which debuted in 2022.
Mikey appeared in the 2024 miniseries Lady in the Lake as a minor character. She starred as the titular stripper and sex worker in the comedy-drama film Anora, directed by Sean Baker. He cast her without an audition after seeing her performances on Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Scream, and he created the character exclusively for her.
Facts and Trivia
Mikey Madison is a vegan who does not use social media. She stated in a November 2024 interview that it does not feel “authentic or natural” to her and that she does not “have anything very impactful to add” to social media. She also stated that she is a “very sensitive person” who feels that people should not read what others are writing about them, thus, she keeps herself “ignorant to that part of the Internet” for her mental health.
Mikey is Jewish, but she was reared in a non-practicing household. However, she defines herself as a “very spiritual person”.
Her grandmother’s cousin was Clarence Hailey Long Jr., a Texas rancher who appeared on the cover of Life magazine’s August 1949 issue, which inspired the Marlboro Man.
