Georgia is a Greek-born Irish model and reality star. She is most famous for her appearance in the series Celebrity Big Brother. In a 2012 survey conducted by FHM magazine, she was ranked 5th in their 100 Sexiest Women poll. She has been nominated for the Most Stylish Woman VIP Style Award.

Georgia Salpa’s Early Life

Georgia Salpa Penna was born on May 14, 1985, in Athens, Greece. She is of Greek (her father’s side), and Irish (mom’s side). When she was five years old, her family moved to Dublin, where she was raised in the suburb of Killiney.

Career Journey

After being scouted by an agent in Florida when she was two years old, she began her modeling career.

Salpa began modeling before leaving secondary school and has undertaken modeling assignments for various publications. She has made TV appearances on such programs as The Podge and Rodge Show, the Republic of Telly (as herself), Celebrity Salon, and Catwalk to Kilimanjaro. In August 2009, after posing in a bikini for a controversial photoshoot for Food & Wine magazine, the magazine apologized after complaints on Liveline.

Salpa later moved to the United Kingdom and participated in the 2012 season of Celebrity Big Brother where she was the third housemate evicted. Also in 2012, Salpa was listed 5th in FHM’s “100 sexiest women” poll, and increasingly featured in the magazine including on covers of the French, Czech and Indonesian editions, and as “cover girl” for FHM’s 2013 “100 sexiest women” publication.
