Raquel Lourdes Pomplun was born on October 24, 1987, in San Diego, California. She is of German and Spanish ancestry. Raquel spent most of her childhood in Tijuana along with her mother and two elder brothers. She attended Southwestern college and majored in Biochemistry.
Career Journey
Raquel began her modeling career when she was in college, posing for Playboy. She has also appeared in a number of magazines and ad campaigns for Mercedes-Benz and Paramount Pictures.
Raquel made her film debut in the 2013 film Snake & Mongoose. That same year, she starred as the lead in the TV series Rocking Rounds.
Raquel produced and starred in the online comedy sketch series “Chocolate Milk Series” with actress/model Malorie Mackey in 2015. She also appeared in the films Warnings and The Taker.
Raquel began a new venture in the world of stand-up comedy in March 2018. She has performed at Flappers Comedy Club and in various comedy competitions. Raqul co-produced “The Melting Pot Show” with Irina Voronina, a comedy show that promotes cultural diversity, because we are, after all, “a melting pot”.
