Max is an American-born Filipino actress and fashion model. She is currently an exclusive artist of the GMA Network. Max rose to prominence in the Philippines thanks to appearances on GMA Network shows like Rosalinda, The Good Daughter, and Innamorata. She is also a model who has appeared in countless billboards, magazines, and commercials in the Philippines.
Her Early Life
Max was born Isabelle Abiera Collins on August 28, 1992, in Vallejo, California. Her roots are a mix of East and West — her mom hails from Kalibo, Aklan in the Philippines, while her dad is American with Irish-Italian heritage. The two met in Los Angeles when her mom was working at Bloomingdale’s (yes, love can bloom in retail).
When Max was four, her parents went their separate ways, and by the time she was nine, her mom had remarried. A year later, the family made a big move — all the way to Kalibo. Max spent the next few years soaking up island life in Boracay, where she also studied at Brent School.
Career Journey
Max began doing commercials when she was ten years old. She has also appeared in publications such as Meg, Candy, Mega, People, and Seventeen. According to her, a talent scout spotted her when she accidentally went into a business where a shoot was taking place. After a year, she was introduced to ABS-CBN. She applied for a VTR with Star Magic and received a call back after a month. She eventually qualified for Star Magic Batch 15.
Max was only 13 years old when she joined Star Magic Batch 15. Max has appeared in small roles on ABS-CBN’s Star Magic Presents: Astigs and Star Magic Presents: Abt Ur Luv Ur Lyf 2. She also had a brief hosting stint on Channel V, but her entertainment career was put on pause when she moved for the United States.
Max made her big return to Philippine showbiz as a regular host on the now-defunct noontime show Wowowee — yes, that wild, energetic lunchtime party we all remember. At the same time, she showed off her acting chops as Veronica in the afternoon drama Rosalka. She even had a sneaky stint as a planted gatecrasher on Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010.
After Rosalka wrapped, Max took on the role of Christy in Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Alyna. But when her contract with Star Magic ended in 2010, she hit pause and flew to the U.S. to figure out her next move. One year later, she was back in the Philippines, ready for round two.
This time, she switched things up — she signed with Perry Lansigan’s PPL Entertainment, rebranded herself as Max Collins, and inked an exclusive deal with GMA Network. The comeback was official.
In 2012, she played a supporting part in her first GMA Network afternoon series production, The Good Daughter. She also appeared in several episodes of Maynila. She also appeared in the Primetime TV series Pahiram ng Sandali.
In March 2015, Max graced the cover of FHM Philippines for the magazine’s 15th anniversary issue — and she wasn’t alone. She shared the spotlight with online stunner Tricia Santos and PBA courtside reporter Rizza Diaz, making it a trio to remember.
That same year, Max turned heads and topped the charts, landing in the top ten of FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women list — she came in hot at number nine. Not too shabby for someone who balances beauty, brains, and serious on-screen presence!

Max comes from a pretty star-studded family — she’s cousins with actresses Lauren and Megan Young. She’s also tight with fellow actress Jessy Mendiola, proving that her inner circle is just as glamorous as she is.
On December 11, 2017, Max tied the knot with actor Pancho Magno in a beautiful Manila wedding. Three years later, they welcomed their son, Skye Anakin, on July 6, 2020 (yes, that name is as cool as it sounds).
Unfortunately, not all love stories go the distance. Max confirmed her split from Pancho in May 2023, and the two finalized their divorce in October 2024.
