Alexandra Abercrombie Tyler was born on May 9, 1994, in Sacramento, California. Growing up, she had a keen interest in art and even worked as a painter at the Central University of Sacramento. According to her, she wanted to express herself through her small artworks. She also originally wanted to be a teacher for special children. After obtaining scholarships, Alexandra moved with her mother to Los Angeles where she found love for modeling.
Career Start
The bookish Alexandra was first encouraged to pursue modeling by her mother, who drove her to a casting call six hours from home when she was still in high school. Alexandra attended a modeling cast available in Los Angeles while still studying, and after signing contracts with small fashion studios, she became hooked and wanted to continue modeling and make it a full-time career. She managed to finish high school in just three years so she could move into modeling more quickly.
Alexandra began work on campaigns for Volcom and L’Oréal and several of her magazine features were out at the end of 2014. At the beginning of 2015, Alexandra was introduced to photographer Michael Bernard by friend Miss January 2015 Playmate Brittny Ward. And not long after, Alexandra became Playmate of the Month for April 2015.
